Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good (CACG) a political non-profit states that it -
“promotes the social justice mission of Pope Francis and the Catholic Church in US politics, media, and culture”

Since I have not heard of or followed this group, I wonder what they are about and what they have to do with Pope Francis. Internet tells me that they are connected with the Clintons, but are they still active now? Who is sponsoring them?

Can’t say I’m familiar with them, but there is the American Solidarity Party.

This article, announcing the apparent demise of Catholics in Alliance came out in 2010. Most of what I;ve read about the orgainization has to do with 2016, Hilary Clinton and the last election. Something is not clear in this regard.

If you’re referring to the Podesta emails, he probably just didn’t realize they had disbanded.
Because who has time to keep up with Democrats and their scandals? 🤣

All this is very fuzzy. If they disbanded in 2010, they couldn’t very well be supporting the social justice agenda of Francis who was elected in 2013. The following is from their twitter feed.

It seems that they have no direct connection to the church, but they are promoting Pope Francis and his agenda.

I don’t know who they are, and honestly I don’t like getting involved in politics on this, because all y’all are wrong just in different ways , I’m probably wrong too.
