Look, buddy, every religion has idiots. Don’t let a few bad apples ruin the barrel.
Look, buddy, I completely understand the purpose of religion. I am a huge believer that we need religion in society for benefiting the human race. These “bad apples” do not change my view point, it just shows there are people who take their beliefs to a level beyond. Bringing the attention to other individuals of these “bad apples” can help eliminate them, therefore allowing religion to flourish.Look, buddy, every religion has idiots. Very true, but this thread is not about pointing the finger at God. It is pointing the finger at religion, which is taught by individuals like you and me.I did not see a single example, and there are many, that is not condemned by Catholic teaching. But alas, man rebels against his Creator - and then has the audacity to point the finger at God!
It is God Himself who gave man religion. So, whether you believe that or not, you are in fact pointing the finger at God. You entitled this thread: “Religion in the World: A Contemporary Reflection” - and all you see is evil? That was all I saw from you, but I’m glad to see you have just corrected that impression.Very true, but this thread is not about pointing the finger at God. What is your practical solution?Look, buddy, I completely understand the purpose of religion. I am a huge believer that we need religion in society for benefiting the human race. We have to agree that there are a numerous amount of atheist that use events like this to justify their claims against religion. If these “bad apples” are no longer, then where do the atheist put a large majority of there emphasis on?

As I just posted, this is one of the biggest arguments atheist bring to the table. “Look at all the evils religions cause to innocent people.” Open your eyes, things like this happen. Stand up for your fellow man, stand up for the fundamental human right of life. Weed out the people that give religions these bad names. It is God Himself who gave man religion. You had me until here. You act as if I am atheist. Thanks though. If you really want to make the world a better place, then start with yourself. Repent for your sins. Humbly submit yourself to the authority that God has put over His people. Receive the Sacramental graces, and learn the ways of God, so that you will be fully equipped to do good works in the name of Jesus Christ, and be a light to the world. God bless.
I have a paper if you wish to read. Lengthy though. What is your practical solution?
God bless,

I can understand and accept that. But at the same time, justice has to go along with mercy and it’s very difficult to decide to weed people out of a religious community, even if they cause scandal of some kind. The Christian Faith is held to a higher standard, and that it to be expected. So, people should truly live up to that higher standard.Stand up for your fellow man, stand up for the fundamental human right of life. Weed out the people that give religions these bad names.
