Religious medal question

Hello all,
Well, I decided I was going to wear a Joan of Arc medal. She is my special confirmation saint, and I got a medal tied around a rope cord and wore it. Then the cord broke, and fell on the floor. The medal was blessed.

What should I do with it? Is it ok to get a new cord and wear it? Get it re-blessed? Or get a new medal?
 
Jeanne, you just need to get a new cord. Falling to the ground or any other little mishap won’t take away the spiritual blessing. Be at peace. 🙂

You might try using a chain instead of a rope. 🙂
