There is a women’s monastic community I’ve been reading about, and the three vows that they take are: stability, fidelity to the monastic way of life, and obedience.
How do these differ from poverty, chastity and obedience? Does “monastic way of life” cover chastity? If so, is a vow like this equal to vowing chastity?
Is “stability” related to poverty?
