Does anyone know if you can request to use the same photo you currently have on your driver’s license on the new one?

I think that depends on what state you live in.
Where I live, you may renew your license by mail and use the same photo once.

Depens on the state and when the old one was taken.
I don’t know of any state that allows for more than a 10 year “lapse” in the photo.
