Today, I came across a blasphemous opinion piece about the Blessed Mother posted in a “Catholic” Facebook group. Please join me in reparation for this grave sin.

Reparation for Blasphemy Against the Blessed Virgin Mary

Most glorious Virgin Mary, Mother of God
and our Mother, take pity upon all miserable
sinners. Our hearts break when we hear
the dreadful insults and blasphemies said
against you, O Virgin Immaculate.

These impious sayings offend the infinite
Majesty of God and of His only begotten Son,
Jesus Christ! How they provoke His indignation
and cause us to fear the terrible effects
of His vengeance!

Because we love and honor you, we would
gladly sacrifice our lives to end these outrages.
We will do all that is in our power to persuade
all people to love and honor you.

In the meantime, merciful Mother, comforter
of the afflicted, accept our act of reparation
which we offer you for ourselves and our families,
as well as for all who blaspheme you, not knowing
what they say.

Obtain for them from Almighty God the grace
of conversion, and thus show your kindness,
power, and great mercy. May they join us
in proclaiming you blessed among women,
Immaculate Virgin and compassionate
Mother of God. Amen.

May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable name of God,
be praised, blessed, loved, adored,
and glorified in heaven, on earth,
and in hell,
by all the creatures of God,
and by the Sacred Heart of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.
