Repeating a Penance

Yesterday I was assigned to say a decade of the rosary while meditating on the Resurrection as my penance. Since I can be scrupulous at times I know that it’s a big no-no to repeat any part of my penance but for the beginning of the decade I forgot to meditate on the Resurrection. Should I repeat that part or not? Would it be a sin if I did?
 
Since part of your penance was to meditate on the ressurection and you did not do so…you didn’t complete the penance. You should do it again.

Quit giving bad advice. OP, you meditated on the Ressurection for part of the decade, so you don’t need to repeat it. Ask our confessor if you’re still not sure.
