Death of anyone should come as a reminder to all that Christ taught us all to ‘Love one another as he loved us’, and to ‘love our enemies’ as well. We are to always strive to stay in a state of grace through confession, penance, and live our lives according to God’s will. Love and Mercy for all souls is what we are asked to do. Remember, we are made in God’s Image. God loves us all, even the sinners…but he hates sin. Those divine virtues Faith, Hope, and Charity should always be the moral compass we use in our travels.

I saw him often on commentary-type programs. He made it easy to look beyond the politics and see the overall foundational issues. A fine gentleman.
