So the potential job I’m applying for is non-Christian, it involves helping others but I don’t believe I’m allowed to go around talking about my faith because we aren’t allowed to push our views on others. So, should I still wear my crucifix, state and explain my beliefs if anyone asks and show others Christ by being a good person? This is all I can really think of to do.

I would check your workplace policy, I work in the UK NHS and a lot of this is a big no no that could lead to a disciplinary hearing. My department can be very gossipy and negative and I try to show my faith by trying not to get dragged into that and trying to treat people fairly regardless of how much negative talk I have geard about a colleague.

It really depends on your culture, I know in the US people seem more comfortable talking about religion than the UK.

Unless your workplace is run by nutjobs, the crucifix shouldn’t be a problem. I would be choosy about who I would talk to about religious beliefs, even I you are asked. Some people ask just because they want a fight. You can usually tell right away if that’s their angle.

I would ask, up front, if this is allowed. If not there are other ways you can share the gospel with your co-workers and others that won’t make anyone uncomfortable or violate your employer’s policies.

As you asked, YES:thumbsup:

Don’t push, but model what WE are to stand for:)

BUT TRY to NOT do it in the work place. Use the break room or go OUT to lunch
