Several priests didn’t have answers to your theological questions? What were these questions, exactly? No offense to the community here, but if you stumped several priests I’m not sure how much help CAF will be…

Not trying to discourage, it’s just that if anyone would know the nitty gritty about Catholicism, it’d be a Catholic priest. Anyway I second Trent Horn as someone else mentioned, as well as this website which deals with a lot of the philosophical issues you have questions about: https://strangenotions.com/.

I tried several priests who didn’t have answers. I’ll try to find a different one. Hope you are well Brittany!
Listen carefully @Struggling1 : There are many reasons for a priest not to give an answer. And perhaps, regarding faith or apologetic, not knowing is the least likely reason.

The priest could have felt the way he was going to give the answer wasn’t going to help you. Or perhaps, the answer would be overbearing or overwhelming. Perhaps the priest felt he wasn’t the right person to answer you. Or perhaps even, you were asking the wrong question.

Take it easy and keep searching. Personally I think the CAF community is well able to answer most questions up to a layman’s perspective. Fear of causing scandal to others with your question is a prudent thought. Perhaps you could phrase or divide the question into pieces. I might also be the case, that a thorough answer requires some time of reflection and reading - I know I’m still learning every day.

Good luck and may Jesus help you along your way.
