I live in the south, a convert to the church 2 Easters ago myself so I wasn’t excited to see 2 Latino men out at the discount grocery store parking lot this morning targeting other Latinos to go to a non-catholic (very anti-catholic) church in our area. Does anyone have some recommendations for good links to materials in Spanish that I could print from online or purchase to hand to these surely well intentioned folks to at least plant a seed of truth? (My reading in spanish is ok, but my Spanish speaking stinks so I couldn’t really have a good discussion w/ one man to spoke no English) For me as a child and young adult I heard many good sounding arguments against the church but no solid defense and was completely ignorant to the truth. I suspect that by the grace of God information and someone actually standing up for the church might be surprising enough to plant a seed. God bless! Thanks for any help!

Hi Liz,

Here is a Mexican apologetics site, evangeliza.com/apologetica.html?start=6

It has some short articles about questions that have come up, a list of recently answered questions and a list of older questions.

In my view, however, I don’t think you’d get very far with the people you’re talking about; better with the people they’re talking too. Why don’t you contact your parish to find out how you could help?
