Response to Controversial Film and Television

I am currently writing my senior undergraduate research paper on the topic of controversial portrayals of the Catholic Church in film and television. The films and television shows I am working with are as follows: The DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons, The Young Pope, Borgia and The Rite.

Topics of controversy are as follows: corruption of historical fact and or corruption within the clergy, and supernatural belief. These topics are the most commonly exploited and portrayed topics.

If you have an opinion on these titles feel free to respond! If you respond you will be allowing me to anonymously use your opinion in the section of my project dealing with the Catholic communities response to controversial portrayals.

This sounds like a fun topic to do a research paper on. You certainly have plenty of
movies to choose from to base your paper on.
I have not seen The Young Pope or The Borgias, but I have seen the other three although it has been several years.
The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons were pretty bad.
