Hello Everyone. I have a question regarding the responsibilities of the prefect and secretary of a congregation in the Vatican. Ex. What does the Prefect of The Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith and what does the secretary do? This can apply for any Vatican congregation.
 
The Prefect of a congregation, always a cardinal, is its president. The Secretary, usually an archbishop, is sort of like its vice-president.
