Is somebody who was involved in a roberry obliged to make restitution even he had no part in the booty? What if the ones who toke the booty don’t make restitution?
First of all, has the one seeking absolution gone to the police and reported all he knows about the crime and those involved? If you were the one who lost his property to theft, would you not consider such reporting as the first step toward conversion, repentance and turning back to love one’s neighbor?
