BTW–a followup to my previous post. Friday we found out that my husband has prostate cancer. He will be starting daily radiation treatments for nine weeks, plus an androgen antagonist. I pray that they caught it in time.
Given the fact that prostate cancer is usually slow growing, he’s probably had it for several months, if not a year (or more.)
I’m happy I was able to rise above feeling rejected and doing passive-aggressive retaliation for his lack of interest in sex. I’d feel pretty stupid, and pretty ashamed of myself if I had engaged in those things.
