I have been in a relationship for just over a year, and my boyfriend and I are seriously discerning marriage. There are a few faith-related topics that we don’t quite see eye-to-eye on, and he wants to hear more about these things (Theology of the Body, contraception, etc.) and grow together in our faith as we continue in our discernment of marriage. Our diocese offered a young couples retreat last month, but we were unfortunately unable to attend as the dates fell during his annual family vacation. I’ve been looking for another couples retreat since then but have not had any luck; everything I’ve found is geared toward married couples, and even general young adult retreats are very scarce in this area. Does anyone know of any organizations that offer retreats for non-married couples, or have suggestions on how to go about finding one? We live in Southern California, but we are willing to travel a bit (we’ve been looking in the Bay area as well) if we find an opportunity elsewhere. All suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!

Thank you for the suggestions! Is Engaged Encounter open to couples who are not engaged yet, though, or is that something we would have to wait on? I’ll definitely check out the “Beloved” series on Formed! Unfortunately, my diocese does not offer much in the way of young adult ministry - the fact that I work for the diocese and am still coming up with nothing is a definite sign that more needs to be done for that age group. I really appreciate your feedback!
