Hello, I just wanted to ask for you prayers. I will be giving a talk at a retreat today. The retreat is for confirmation students. My topic is God in your profession, workplace or vocation. I am to talk about God’s call in my vocation. I will be talking about my vocation as a court reporter (employee), wife and mother and person in general. It will be a 35 to 45 minute talk. I have never done this before so I am nervous that I might not give a ‘good’ talk. Please pray for me that God’s words will pour out of my lips to reach the hearts of these young kids.

simply ask the Holy Spirit to speak through you, and that He will use your words and speech so that the retreatants hear what He wants them to hear.

Praying to the Holy Spirit is a good idea. I will pray to the Holy Spirit. Can you please join me in prayer to the Holy Spirit? What you stated is exactly what I wish is that the Holy Spirit will use me to reach these kids.
