Are there any monasteries or abbeys in the UK or Ireland that take in boarders or offer retreats? If so could you please fill me in 😃

I found this website while searching for retreat centers, maybe one of these will suit your needs.

But don’t know if thats entirely your ilk as you state your Roman Catholic and these are Anglican. But its a starting point
 
I have made a retreat at Pantasaph which was a really good experience. I have also been to the Emmaus Retreat Centre. St Cassians Centre is mostly used as a retreat centre for young people although they do open for adults for advent retreats and a limited number of retreats in the year for families.

Also Wickenden Manor and Thornycroft Hall are Opus Dei retreat centres, I made a silent retreat at Wickenden Manor a few years ago and that also was a very good experience.

I know our Catholic retreat near Vancouver BC accepts any chrisian denomination who would like to use their facilities. Besides, Anglican’s high church has little difference so the chapels would most likely be adequate for mass too !
