Unless the parents are brand new to Christianity and raised their child without Christian moral teachings, the daughter knows that the Church considers sex outside of marriage a sin.

Completely agree though there are ways to lovingly remind, lovingly show disapproval and be ready to help pick them back up when needed.

People many times act based on what they believe or choose to believe.

To come back to the Eucharist we do need to repent and go to confession after mortal sin.
