Star of “Laverne and Shirley”, and director of Big and A League of Their Own.

Passed away from complications of diabetes, age 75.

I was never really a fan of L&S, but League is one of the better baseball movies out there, IMHO.
 
L & S never seemed to be shown very widely in reruns. The little I saw I liked.
