Rite of Acceptance coming up! But

I just found out when my rite of acceptance is (Sept.13th). Getting excited about it, I decided to look it up… and it’s only supposed to be for people who aren’t baptized yet. :confused:
The whole class is going, from what I understand, but will it be different for me? Since I was baptized as a baby it was my parents who made the acceptance for me, but they didn’t exactly do the best in bringing me up Catholic.
 
When I did mine, they split us into two groups. The baptized candidates went up first, and the unbaptized catachumens went up second. We all met the Bishop and signed the book of the Elect. It was a beautiful ceremony. I can’t say I recall much about it because I was nervous, but it was beautiful.

For catechumens it is the RIte of Acceptance.

For candidates it is the Rite of Welcoming.

These are often done together.
