Other than the Ostrabramska Mother of God, are there any other Roman Catholic images that are traditionally adorned with a riza?

The closest equivalent I am familiar with is the adornment of the Mother of God in the Spanish culture (Spain). Not just for Holy Week, but an example here for the Feast of the Assumtion/Dormition of Mary (picture below) I hail from this Catholic culture.

Thank you, Casilda. 🙂 That statue looks beautiful with all that adornment.

Is there a name/term for this practice or the actual adornments? Also, are the statues that are adorned like that usually created to be adorned so from the start? Or is this an honour bestowed later to statues ?

Not sure what might be included in the term “riza”, but see the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

I do not know if there is a term for the adornment. They are specifically made to be meticulously clothed and adorned. The images reside in parishes and are taken out and processed on feast days much like icons are processed.
