Good day, I would like to ask if this Roman Ritual: The Blessings by Fr. Philip Weller has the blessings with exorcism prayer?

ISBN: 978-1-945275-19-7

USCCB Prayers Against the Powers of Darkness ← better book for the laity.

Or this one - Deliverance Prayers: For Use by the Laity Paperback – December 10, 2016 by Fr. Chad A Ripperger PhD (Author)

Other prayers of exoricism must not be said by the unordained as they do not have the authority of Jesus/God behind them as Ordained Priests do, nor do they have the training, spiritual strength of the Ordained Priest. And whilst your intention is to help, using these other prayers which must only be said by Ordained Priests very well could make the situation gravely worse.

ETA - the particular book you asked about is meant for Priests.

I already have that book by Fr. Ripperger and I am well aware that I AM NOT allowed to use it to bless the religious items but it does not mean I can’t purchase it. I will lend it to a priest whenever I need salt and oil to be exorcised.

Then may I suggest instead of lending it to your priest, why not gift it to him instead? Then all the Holy Water at the Church can be blessed using those particular prayers, including blessing salt and oil - for whomever asks for these. That way, the whole parish benefits and Father has the book to add to his personal library if you didn’t wish it to be kept within the parish.

If I may request, if you don’t know the answer, please stop commenting in this thread. I am not asking for your suggestion or advice. You don’t have to tell me on what I should do with this book. Thank you.

As you wish. Based on the brief op in which you did not state the intended purpose behind wishing to purchase this particular book, and knowing these threads are google searchable by all and sundry, then being responsible Catholic I thought it prudent of me to recommend books more appropriate to the laity.

Good day.
