Yes it is shocking, my Oncologist does not wear a white coat :eek: but his Physicians Assistant and Nurse Practitioner both do :eek::eek:.
Hmmm…I’ve heard that the Mayo Clinic (from another forum—cannot confirm or refute this) doesn’t permit their physicians to wear white coats. Instead, they wear shirts and ties for gentleman and appropriate business attire for ladies.

I have heard that, too. At least they have to wear suits(or neckties at the minimum), though.
