I was thinking more about this and ways to get rid of it. Being that they do not contain explicit images, if you were to soak them with water or especially used cooking oil, it would make them unserviceable or at least very unlikely that anyone would read them. Another idea I had when I was making fire starters yesterday, was to put a heavy cotton string through them and soak them in melted wax. Pull them out, shake off the excess, and let them cool. Then you can light the string and put them under wood in your fireplace. I do this with rolled up newspaper but there is no reason it wouldn’t work with paperbacks.

Or…If she has a kitty cat, she can take a nicely “loaded” litter box and dump it into a garbage bag containg those naughty little novels!
