Prayer for John Paul II’s Intercession

Here is the text of the prayer:

O Blessed Trinity,
We thank you for having graced the Church with Pope John Paul II
and for allowing the tenderness of your Fatherly care,
the glory of the cross of Christ,
and the splendor of the Holy Spirit, to shine through him.

Trusting fully in Your infinite mercy
and in the maternal intercession of Mary,
he has given us a living image of Jesus the Good Shepherd,
and has shown us that holiness is the necessary measure of ordinary Christian life and is
the way of achieving eternal communion with you.

Grant us, by his intercession, and according to Your will,
the graces we implore,
hoping that he will soon be numbered among your saints. Amen.

I made some “niner” chaplets to JPII. “Niners” traditionally are prayed with a prayer for the intercession of the particular saint, and then 3 Our Fathers, 3 Hail Marys and 3 Glory Bes. Thankfully, nobody has bought my “niner” chaplets to JPII yet, because I couldn’t find a prayer for his intercession for the instructions on how to pray it. I wanted an “official” prayer, so I was going to look for a generic one. This is much better!
 
I need a Spanish and French translation of this prayer - does anyone have it and if so could you post it here? Thanks very much! 🙂

You might check the vatican website. Maybe they have it in those languages.
