Rosa Mystica Noven Rosary Prayers?

Hello,
Does anyone know anything about the Rosa Mystica Novena Prayers. All I know is that it is based on apparitions in Italy in 1947. Are these prayers and devotions approved by the catholic church. Why have I not heard of them before?

I used to know a guy who made them. They have seven decades of seven beads. The intentions at each decade are very Christ oriented and I think together are called the “Seven Tears of Mary” or something to that affect. My friend was very dedicated to it.

I think that Very few people even know about the Rosa Mystica.
