Rosary blessed w/each owner?

If a blessed rosary is passed down in a family from generation to generation, does each new owner need to get it blessed? I was given one, and this is what my non-practicing Catholic grandmother says to do. Any insight?

I’ve never heard of needing something to be blessed twice , to think so might ensue that God didn’t do such a good job first time. :tiphat:

My grandmother gave me a Rosary a few years ago. Even though she is a Cathloic I still got it blessed just to be on the safe side.
