Rosary Bracelet Need a Blessing?

Hello.

I ordered a Rosary bracelet from amazon. Came today. It’s very useful to say a decade when at work without having to get my large rosary out.

My question is - does it need to be blessed by a priest? Is it ok to use just a bracelet and not a full rosary?

Prayers are always good. You can pray a rosary on your 10 fingers or on a chaplet of pure gold, the prayers are still efficacious. Do not hesitate praying using this chaplet bracelet because it is not blessed, but, next time you shake the priest’s hand after Mass, ask him to bless your rosary bracelet. A blessed rosary becomes a Sacramental, so, it is no longer just a piece of jewelry.
