Rosary question please

Hello all

A question please. I don’t often have time to pray a complete rosary so I break it down into individual decades throughout the day. My question is; is it acceptable to only pray the apostles creed and the first 3 Hail Marys for the first prayer of the day and then later on in the day just start with a decade?

Yes. I pray my Rosary throughout the day in small “pieces” and sometimes it begins the way you’ve described.

Sure. It is a private devotion so there are no rules.

Yes of course, all prayer is good. Many people I know will pray that way or simply pray the Jesus prayer and one Hail Mary.

i seem to be interrupted a lot praying the rosary. (pretty sure it’s the enemy and his games). I just pick up where i left off.

Absolutely! Just pick up where you left off; no need to repeat the opening prayers, unless you wish to.

Acceptable? It only matters if you are trying to gain a plenary indulgence from praying the Rosary. One of the conditions for gaining a plenary indulgence from praying a Rosary is that five decades be prayed continuously.
