Rosary thrown out of window. And other things

Hi, this happened 2 months ago but I am bringing it up because something else happened.

I live with my husband and we came home from a retreat lately to find a rosary thrown out of our window.

We live at an apartment and always have the windows to the room closed. I’ve never prayed in that room either and both of us do not sleepwalk. We found out about that only when my husband wanted to clean the room and looked out the parapet. It was my RCIA rosary. It occurred after I launched a daily night rosary prayer with my retreat mates. My home is blessed. Right after that, I put up more holy icons in my room and prayed. I do experience peace after that.

Today something else happened. I have 3 rosaries at my bedside table. One is my usual favourite and the other two are new, blessed rosaries that family got me from Jerusalem. I prayed with the brown olive wood rosary a few days ago and decided to pick it again today but the mere sight of it put me at ill ease.

I thought I was imagining but when I picked it up in my hands, I no longer feel comfort or that it is mine. I feel nauseous and very dizzy. I felt as if someone had touched it. Maybe a soul? I do not know yet.

I prayed the rosary immediately with my old favourite and felt so much better. My voice got louder and I prayed with so much fervour.

I am wondering what should I do? Should it get it reblessed? What should I tell the priest? I do tend to be able to feel if a place is holy or not and can discern such environments pretty well. So I don’t allude the feelings I felt as me being sick or low in blood pressure.
 
Get the rosary re-blessed. I don’t know what else you can do to help. It sounds spooky. If you don’t let the priest know about it, he will bless the rosary and let it go at that. How do you know it was really blessed the first time? I don’t know, but I doubt that having it blessed can hurt anything.

I lived in an apartment once that was not a nice place to be. Now that I look back on it, I remember coming home from work and finding all of my holy pictures and statues covered with brown paper. A paper bag was put over my Infant of Prague. Nobody admitted to this. My daughter said she did not do it. (She could have been lying, but to day she said she did not know who did it.) The TV would change channels sometimes, and a picture fell off the wall for no reason. My daughter saw a specter in her room. She was so scared it took a while to get her to sleep in her room again. This place was evil because of a lot of different happenings, like gang activities, kids and occult practices (the mirror game, conjuring up Bloody Mary and seances).
 
Perhaps the priest needs to come in and do an spiritual cleansing blessing -or even all the “works.” Get some Holy water and sprinkle the room and rosaries liberally. I do believe someone let the Dogs of Hell loose and that Satan is a happy fellow these days. Peace and many prayers. ME.
 
Hi. Please get some St Benedict medals and have them blessed using the special blessing. Keep these in your bedroom and other rooms; they are very inexpensive. Get blessed salt and holy water and use them frequently and liberally.

EVERYBODY should now be wearing and using blessed sacramentals on their persons and in their homes - the St Benedict’s medal, Miraculous medal, Crucifix, Scapular, holy pictures, statues etc. Heaven has given us these for a reason. They are very powerful. People need to educate themselves about spiritual warfare. It is real. We have the tools and weapons - we just need to use them!!!

And a prayerful attitude and acts of faith need to go with all those wonderful sacramentals! They lead us to help prepare well for the sacraments.
 
Yes, that is true. When the devil launches these attacks it should prompt us to deepen our prayer life and faith and redouble our efforts rather than retreat in fear which is what he wants. More frequent attendance at Mass, Confession, Rosary, Eucharistic Adoration, Divine Mercy chaplet etc. are all wonderful ways to take the fight to the enemy. The sign of the Cross and the names of Jesus and Mary put the devil and his demons to flight. The way I see it, one must be doing something right if the devil is causing such harassment.
 
You need to sprinkle Holy Water (a little around each room of your house.each night and afterward command in your thoughts “I command in the Name of Jesus, that all evil spirits and their evil companions leave immediately and directly without any harm, manifestation, or revenge toward myself, my family, relatives, friends and associates, or our places, possessions and sources of supply.”

St Therese of Avila was once experiencing attacks from satan. She experienced, when she used the sign of the Cross, he disappeared but returned later, when she used Holy Water he had to leave and never return. Because Holy water has exorcist prayers prayed over it. Holy water is even used in exorcisms.

So use Holy water. And don’t be afraid.
If you are courageous in Jesus, then the bad spirit will be afraid of the Lord living within you. He will run from the Lord present within you.

Wear a blessed miraculous medal always.
Wear a blessed brown scapular, and get a priest to enrol you in the brown scapular (enrolment prayers for the priest come on a leaflet with the scapular).

Leave a bottle of Holy water in your room. In your car. In your workplace.

Devotion to Our Lady is powerful. She crushes his head as it says in scripture. It’s her mission.

Pray the St Michael prayer daily.
Pope Leo composed that prayer after seeing a vision of St Michael defending the church from evil.
A catholic deliverance guy in Ireland says that prayer and evil stops any attack when he repeats that prayer.
 
Since there already seems to be a plethora of spiritual options at your disposal (and because curses/demons/etc are outside my area of expertise), can I suggest another possibility? Is it not possible that there are completely natural explanations for your experiences? For example, that the rosary was caught on someone’s pants when they went out to the balcony, or someone from a higher level apartment dropped a rosary that looks similar to yours, or your husband absentmindedly picked up up and brought it outside while he was cleaning, etc etc? And that your “ill feeling” about the wooden rosary is just your imagination? Is it not possible?

I think you can certainly avail yourself of the spiritual options if they bring you peace. If it were me, I’d probably shrug it off, pray with my preferred rosary, and not give it a second thought.

Have a traditional Catholic priest come to your house and bless the house.

Remove any and all occult materials from the home - occult books, Ouija boards, etc.

Use sacramentals in the home - St. Benedict medals, Miraculous Medals, crucifixes, etc.

Wear a scapular and keep a rosary on your person.

The Devil hates the rosary, and will attack. It could be something as simple as your house getting egged, falling ill, or other unusual or unexplained occurrences.
 
Every morning I cover my life , my business , my family with the blood of Jesus.

We are like a computer ( PC ) without anti virus it is a matter of time that we are infected
and we crash.

Your anti virus should be always updated and turned on.

Excellent advice.
A guy in the deliverance ministry in my Country recommends, anything sinful must be removed from a person’s house, it could be an impure book, bad Dvds, anything occult, he also recommends that in his experience he has come across that the scented candles being sold in shops now, that someone is cursing these before they are put in shops, in the hope that Catholics will buy the candles, and that houses that light these candles experience manifestations, until the candle is thrown out. He said also, some group of anti Catholics are cursing faceless angel statues that are being sold in hallmark, easons, and other places, and the same thing again, that houses that bring home this statue will experience problems until the statue is gotten rid of.

Also, any objects brought back from holidays or given as holiday souvenirs. Such as pagan god statues, lucky talismans or good luck charms, he said there are some cultures abroad that still curse objects in the hope that Catholics will buy them and bring back the curse with them.

This deliverance guy is a friend of Sr Briege Mckenna, and she helped start his ministry, so his advice is safe!
