I know that praying the Rosary in a family group helps one to gain a plenary indulgence (given that all the other requirements are met: confession, pray for the Pope’s intentions, receive the Holy Eucharist…). Unfortunately, I cannot get my wife to pray the Rosary everyday with the kids and I. (Maybe twice a week, which is a great improvement- Thank you Jesus and Mary! )
Here’s my question- Even if my wife does not pray the Rosary with us I still pray it with the kids. The kids, however, are 3 and 15 months. So, they are usually running around the room being kids. (They do listen though…) Even though they cannot yet say the prayers, do I gain a plenary indulgence for saying it with them?
