Can anyone tell me the difference between the RSV and RSV-CE. I know Oxford puts out an RSV with apocrypha. The RSV was originally a Protestant bible.

If you pick up a copy of the RSV-CE (Ignatius or Sceptor) in the back there is an explanation and list of the differences. Mostly the changes are stylistic or to reflect Catholic traditional wording.

All of the changes between the RSV and the RSV-CE were made to the New Testament; both have an identical Old Testament.
