Ah… Baths always sound so decadent, but I can just never enjoy one. I always get cold. There’s always something sticking up out of the water.

I much prefer a steamy shower…

the pellets of hot water striking your skin is like a subtle massage… The noise is therapeutic and the steam opens the pores and loosens up the lungs…

Ahhh
👍

Ditto on the warm towels, and cold drink for when you get out.

EDIT:

Now when I was pregnant… and I mean heffelump pregnant… a bath was a wonderful thing. The water would take the weight of baby off my joints etc. It was wonderful - but again, I always got cold. So six of one, half dozen of another…

Those last few weeks, I told people I was like one of those hippopotumusses (sp) in Africa searching diligently for a watering hole to languish in.

:yup:

I’d be happy with just an uninterrupted 15 minute shower without having to make special arrangements at this point though.
What she said…

Yesterday morning, amazingly, my boys left me alone for a whopping 10 minutes in the shower (before hanging on my legs as I tried to put on my clothes, and demanding to nurse). Ah, the life of a mother.

A decadent hot bath and a good book do sound almost heavenly, though. We want to build a master suite in our basement specifically to house our big dream bathtub someday.👍
