Sacramental Re-Blessing?

I was given a Miraculous Medal by a nun over a year ago when on holiday in Poland, it was covered in a laminated holy card (I assume it was blessed). I removed it from the holy card and am wearing it now. Would it be necessary to have it blessed again?
I’ve read that damage to sacramentals means they lose the blessing but I’m not sure if damaging the laminated card counts.

If the medal was blessed, it is still blessed. Neither damage nor wear and tear effects the blessing.

It stays blessed as long as you can still recognize what it is and use it as intended.
