What are the differences between a Sacrament and something that is sacramental?

There are seven sacraments: Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation, Sacrament of the Sick, Reconciliation, Marriage, and Holy Orders. These were instituted by God to give Grace. Sacramentals are holy objects and there are lots of them: incense, the rosary, holy water, objects the priest uses for Mass and Consecration, any blessed object such as a medal etc. They are really meant to help us in rituals and to help in reminding us what we are about in this world.

Sacramentals are treated with respect but are not revered. They are used, such as Holy Water, candles, Blessed Palms, and disposed of in respectful ways. For instance, I usually burn my palms from the year before and put the ashes on the grass in our yard.
