I know I could search this question - I do not have time.

I have a very close family memeber who was an active Catholic until they married another Catholic who heard about the Catolic stance on the Manson’s. They left the faith for a local Bible Church.

This family member is very sick right now and has agreed to have our Priest visit her…is he able to give her the Sacrament of the Sick. This person is very ill.

Please pray and advise. Blessings.

Prayers offered. Yes it’s OK for your friend to receive the sacrament. In fact it is a must. It might be what brings her back to the faith. God wants us to have every chance at coming home to Him, up until our last breath.

Call the priest.

The only person who can make that determination is the priest himself who visits her–not people on an internet forum.

Call the priest and give him the chance to visit, and most importantly, give her the chance to be visited by the priest.

He will know what needs to be done, and he will know how to do it.

Call the priest.

Call him as soon as it’s reasonably possible.
