Saint Joseph Scapular

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me learn more about the Saint Joseph Scapular. I started wearing one because I chose “Joseph” as my confirmation name when I was confirmed earlier this year.

I was able to find an investment prayer, but was wondering if there are any special promises associated with this scapular? Although any extra information would be great!
Also, are there any “general” scapular promises that apply for all scapulars?

I couldn’t find too much from a quick search on the Internet besides this from the Catholic Encyclopedia. Scroll down near to the very bottom to find the paragraph.

I think scapulars have shape and style in common, but I don’t think there is a general promise given to all of them since they seem to derive from different traditions and apparitions.
