Saint Stephen's face looked like the face of an angel?

Anyone ever wonder about that? To me it seems like a way of saying that Saint Stephen was very holy and filled with the Holy Spirit, so much so that his holiness even showed in his face.

I always thought that, too.

Or else because he was about to die, his eternal being began to show through him, just like our LORD in Transfiguration.
