Yesterday I got on my knees and said the devotional prayer to Saint Therese the little flower. I have to admit, I am a bit desperate, and I begged for a rose to be sent to me as soon as possible, if not at the end of the 9 days. I prayed for the rose to clearly and convincingly indicate to me my vocation in life, as I am struggling in my discernment and very anxious about what to do this fall, which I am still unsure of (sophomore in college). Well today is my parent’s anniversary and when I got home from work I saw on the kitchen table a boquet of flowers with pink roses in them from my dad to my mom as an anniversary gift. Is this what a rose sent from Saint Therese would look like, or should I keep waiting? If it is the rose from Saint Therese, would that be a sign that I am called to married life? Or is it not an answer to my prayer because it’s an anniversary gift from my dad to my mom. Only looking for experienced answers if you’re they’re out there, preferably priests. I’ll have to bring this up with my spiritual director too.
