Saintly help and symbols from Heaven question

I know the Little Flower sends roses from heaven-and the Blessed Mother sometimes has apparitions-

What about other saints? Do they also send messages too? A person I know told me she prayed for me and found a star. She said when she prays sometimes, she finds a little star in random places.

What are your thoughts?

You would really enjoy the book Apparitions of Modern Saints by Patricia Treece. It has tons of stories like that.

Are these approved private revelations? You have to be very meticulous because the evil one will appear as an angel of light, tell a hundred truths to slip in one lie etc… You know, private revelation is not necessary for salvation. Why not stick to time tested revelations like Lourdes and Fatima and leave the rest to God?

Thank you for your replies-I will definately get this book-

I don’t think it’s private revelation-the woman I know is very kind, and very religious and reverent. She is well respected at church and involved in many ministires, so this is why I ask. If she was different, I would not take this too seriously.

She knew I needed some prayers about something, and told me after mass that she sometimes, not always, finds a star within a day or so when she prays and after she prayed for me she found a little star,on the floor of her car. She gave it to me.

I was wondering if this happens with others-if the mystical side of our religion ever presented itself in unique and sublte ways that are consistant.
