Canon Law is a fully developed legal system that governs the Catholic Church. Canon Law is not a teaching of Christ, thus it will not be found in the Word of God, in other words it is not found in either Holy Scripture or Holy Tradition. However, as the governing laws of the Catholic Church all of Canon Law is in perfect alliance with Scripture and Holy Tradition. For example, the Canon Law covering marriage are in perfect alliance with the Sacrament of Matrimony.
