Does anyone know of any saints particularly for female problems?

Depending on the kinds of problems…I would say St. Rita of Cascia or St. Monica for marital/motherhood issues.

Or perhaps St. Agatha of Sicily relates? She is patron Saint of breast cancer.

I don’t know if there’s specifically a patron saint for reproductive issues. Here’s an A-Z list that might help, for different topics. There are some on labor pains and infertility and several different “women” issues.

Going through my 2008 TAN’S Saints Calander, I did not find anything for menstraul problems or cramps, if that is what you were asking about.

Still, St. Erasmus (Elmo) is listed as patron saint for abdominal pains. St. Anne for childless women. St Lucy for hemorrage.

Don’t forget St. Veronica (the woman with the “issue of blood” whom Jesus healed ini the Gospels).

I recommend Teresa of Avila (who suffered terribly from a grwth in hwe womb), St Anne,

Dominic’s mother was then expecting a baby and was in great pain,[102] and when Dominic reached the house, he hugged and kissed his mother, and then left. His mother felt her pain leave her and Dominic’s baby sister, Catherine was born.[103] The women assisting at the birth found that Dominic had left a green scapular around his mother’s neck. His sister Theresa later wore this same scapular when she was in labour. She testified that it had been passed around to several other pregnant women and was later lost.[104]

If you are single, I recommend St. Agatha, if you are married, I recommend St Monica. And if you are are so disposed, (as I am), then look to St. Rita.

I have just read about this again. She did, indeed, suffer from many female problems…
