You are the ony one to choose. Saints or Pastors? Faithful to God or Faithful to the devil?
Good or Bad? Non-cruel or Cruelty?

um… i don’t get it.

Saints or Pastors? Both. Both have their roles in the church and niether is mutually exclusive to the other

The rest should all be obvious: faithful to God, Good, Compassionate (aka, non-cruel)

Wait, what? Are you saying that Pastors are faithful to the devil, bad, and cruel? Since this is a pretty novel accusation, what are you founding it on?

I think a tribe of pastors burned down his village when he was younger and he’s still bitter 😃

Aren’t you banned yet?

If pastors are living in a tribe, then how can they all be pastors? 😛

Hi Byzantine wolf (howl) is it full moon yet?
I can’t vote this poll because poster is unclear on what he/she is asking. maybe this tribe of pastors was hunting trolls.

They went to the same seminary together.
But I mean, if a pastor guides a flock, and everyone in the tribe is a pastor, how can they all guide each other? Or have I answered my own question?

(Or were you making some other joke that I didn’t get?)

(Scotty, do you find yourself following the rolling guy with your mouse and clicking right on him, or am I just weird?)

I was just giving another rather silly addition to the idea that pastors run around burning down villages 😃

My dad, who was a pastor, would come home late on Saturday nights, smelling of
burnt wood!!! :hmmm:

Jon
Show your dad’s picture to King Piplup and see if he starts to hyperventalate. Also listen for the Kill Bill revenge music.

I just got an email from the United Society of Pastors- they are not amused! (Queen Victoria smiley goes here)
Actually to be less jocular, if you look at the lists of saints the common of pastors in the breviary is used more often than anything else. This doesn’t count the ones who were martyred or doctors of the church .In terms of ultimate Pastors, the Pope, almost all of them until 535 were saints. In total out of 266 of them 78 were canonized saints and 10 Blesseds (next best thing).

Choose what ? What are you asking ? As it stands, the question has no meaning.

This thread can’t be for serious.

I mean for crying out loud aren’t priests who are the head priests of a specific parish called pastors as well?

Topics like this don’t bring people to the Catholic Church. If anything, they draw them further away from it.

I voted for pastors only because I figured most people would be voting for saints. 😃

Plenty of men have combined both saintliness and pastoral work - all of the sainted Apostles, all the other sainted Popes and Bishops, St Jean Marie Vianney and many other sainted (and saintly if uncanonised) pastors among them. :getholy:
