we fall from grace on a daily basis…who are you kidding? Yourself if you think you don’t.
Are you sure you’re not Catholic?
That is a shame…cuz you people need Christ in a big way…
And what qualifies you to judge us?
If you feel what I am doing is “bashing”…maybe you better check your conviction meter…
Actually, we’re checking the fruits as Jesus taught us.
Truth stings sometimes.
You’d do well to remember that if you are able to hang around long enough. Most people that start out posting such as you get a whole big dose of the truth and run as fast away as they can… 😃
of course I am NOT welcome here…Jesus was NOT WELCOME in Nazareth either.
Don’t worry, I don’t think anyone will mistake you for Jesus.
where does scripture give us room to throw it away? Show ONE example of a TRULY saved individual sacrificed their gift willingly.
It’s impossible to know if someone is in Hell, so nobody can answer this question. I would argue, based upon Jesus’s words, that Judas Iscariot would be an example of this.
…ever heard of the great commission?
Duly noted and reported to the moderators. Take some time and read the rules.

…then the Good Shepherd is not so good now, …is He???

Breaking promises is not Jesus game…

…
Jesus does not break His promise. God gives us a choice. We can choose life, or death. If we choose death, He allows this. Willfully refusing to follow the commandments of God is quite different than getting lost.
…that is ONE reason.

Not on the whole however.
Catholic Answers Forum is not provided as a venue for you to correct Catholics about what you perceive as their misguided notions. It is not appropriate for you to use the threads to attempt evangelize. If you feel called to such a ministry, then I encourage you to set up your own website, or join one of the other anti-Catholic discussion board.

If you are genuinely seeking Catholic Answers, then I hope you will do so. However, the tone of your posts so far seems rather condescending, and does not leave one with the impression that you are sincerely curious about our faith.

Eddie89;3783339 It is the Catholic understanding that we can HOPE but there is no “for-sure”(Unless you’re a saint canonized by the Church said:
I think it would be a sin of presumption and arrogance to say “I’m positive I’m going to heaven.” You can think it, but no one is their own Judge, come Judgment Day.

Pope Benedict’s Second Encyclical is about Hope and Salvation. Here it is:
. “SPE SALVI facti sumus”—in hope we were saved, says Saint Paul to the Romans…

It is kinda sad that with all that talk of how one falls from grace daily, that this person rejects the New Testament way of dealing with sin and confession.
But, you better allow the HS to occupy, or else you are left empty…and will end up WORSE than what you started.
Gee, thanks for the support for Catholic teaching.

1 Judge not, that you may not be judged, 2 For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Truth stings sometimes.
Perhaps the truth is that you are here on CAF instead of the a-C forum that is your regular haunt because your own “conviction meter” is pegged to the red line. It won’t be any of our doing…but the work of the Holy Spirit.

God grant that it be so and very soon.
of course I am NOT welcome here…Jesus was NOT WELCOME in Nazareth either.
I don’t think anyone here has said that YOU were unwelcome here at CAF, and I know that the way you have responded is false.

You are not Christ. You are just a person who professes Him and has not got either the common Christian charity to behave as a guest on these forums, or to abide by the rules that you said you would when you joined the forum.

🤷 Rhetoric and nothing more.
…ever heard of the great commission?
Indeed I have.

This is from the very beginning of the Catechism of the Catholic Church
1 God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life. For this reason, at every time and in every place, God draws close to man. He calls man to seek him, to know him, to love him with all his strength. He calls together all men, scattered and divided by sin, into the unity of his family, the Church. To accomplish this, when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son as Redeemer and Savior. In his Son and through him, he invites men to become, in the Holy Spirit, his adopted children and thus heirs of his blessed life.

2 So that this call should resound throughout the world, Christ sent forth the apostles he had chosen, commissioning them to proclaim the gospel: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age."4 Strengthened by this mission, the apostles "went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that attended it."5

3 Those who with God’s help have welcomed Christ’s call and freely responded to it are urged on by love of Christ to proclaim the Good News everywhere in the world. This treasure, received from the apostles, has been faithfully guarded by their successors. All Christ’s faithful are called to hand it on from generation to generation, by professing the faith, by living it in fraternal sharing, and by celebrating it in liturgy and prayer.6

Then too…and again,
849 The missionary mandate. “Having been divinely sent to the nations that she might be ‘the universal sacrament of salvation,’ the Church, in obedience to the command of her founder and because it is demanded by her own essential universality, strives to preach the Gospel to all men”:339 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and Lo, I am with you always, until the close of the age."340

850 The origin and purpose of mission. The Lord’s missionary mandate is ultimately grounded in the eternal love of the Most Holy Trinity: "The Church on earth is by her nature missionary since, according to the plan of the Father, she has as her origin the mission of the Son and the Holy Spirit."341 The ultimate purpose of mission is none other than to make men share in the communion between the Father and the Son in their Spirit of love.342

851 Missionary motivation. It is from God’s love for all men that the Church in every age receives both the obligation and the vigor of her missionary dynamism, "for the love of Christ urges us on."343 Indeed, God “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth”;344 that is, God wills the salvation of everyone through the knowledge of the truth. Salvation is found in the truth. Those who obey the prompting of the Spirit of truth are already on the way of salvation. But the Church, to whom this truth has been entrusted, must go out to meet their desire, so as to bring them the truth. Because she believes in God’s universal plan of salvation, the Church must be missionary. also…
767 "When the work which the Father gave the Son to do on earth was accomplished, the Holy Spirit was sent on the day of Pentecost in order that he might continually sanctify the Church."174 Then "the Church was openly displayed to the crowds and the spread of the Gospel among the nations, through preaching, was begun."175 As the “convocation” of all men for salvation, the Church in her very nature is missionary, sent by Christ to all the nations to make disciples of them.176 Here again…
The missionary mandate. “Having been divinely sent to the nations that she might be ‘the universal sacrament of salvation,’ the Church, in obedience to the command of her founder and because it is demanded by her own essential universality, strives to preach the Gospel to all men”: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and Lo, I am with you always, until the close of the age.” and
Christ sent his apostles so that “repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations.” “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” The mission to baptize, and so the sacramental mission, is implied in the mission to evangelize, because the sacrament is prepared for by the word of God and by the faith which is assent to this word:
The People of God is formed into one in the first place by the Word of the living God. . . . The preaching of the Word is required for the sacramental ministry itself, since the sacraments are sacraments of faith, drawing their origin and nourishment from the Word.
