5 so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.

16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 " He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Eternal life is to be with God in heaven. Jesus gives us to options here. Believe in Christ as you personal Savior and know that you have eternal life or do not believe and be judged. This is not hard to understand. Man’s philosophy wants us to believe that we must do something other than believe to be saved. God, Jesus Christ, tells us otherwise. I will go with God and the Bible.

the only sin that send ones to hell is unbeliefe, unless you can show me from the Bible where this idea is wrong.

I am sorry I been away, busy on the

When asked that question in the thread, it took many post for someone to even hint I was doomed if I was not of the RC faith.

then I received a PM which stated

To which I thanked the person for her bluntness.

I have to admit, that the above just described me to the “T” and I am destined for hell, if what the RCC believes about salvation is true.

I will make a statement right now,

Even after reading that, I not only believe, but I know that if the good Lord takes me right now, this very second, I will go to heaven where I will be celebrating and worshipping God with all my believing brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ and looking forward to celebrating with all to follow.

I will go to my grave with that knowledge of my salvation by the grace of God, and my faith in Him, thank you Lord.

My question is who will be there in heaven celebrating with us?

You have asked me how I can be sure. Well I told you that God promised the gift of eternal life in His word and all we have to do is accept the gift.

I mention on my thread in my lifetime I never had any refuse a gift which I offered them from my heart, never

Unfortunately, I hae witnessed so many people refuse a most precious gift that they can ever have and the one who is offering that gift of eternal life is Almighty God.

The bible says…

For the wages of sin is death, but **the gift of God is eternal life **in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

I believe the following will illustrate the difference between how

Roman Catholic’s

and

non RC’s (protestants, baptists, methodist, presbytarian, evangilicals etc.)

view salvation.

If you are in your 50’s you probably heard of Evel Knievel.
For those who did not, Evel Knievel made a living as a motorcycle daredevil. He would jump over cars, buses and had a failed attempt to jump over the Snake River Canyon in Idaho.

He jumped 151 feet across the fountains in front of Caesar’s Palace and over 13 buses in Wembley Stadium.
From all his missed jumps and crashes, he broken 35 bones over his career.

Some of the crashes he suffered, could have killed Him. Thank God, He let Evel live.

Evel’s personal life…in his own words from his testimony below,

“I’ve had a life better than any king, any president or any prince. I was talking about the Rolls Royce I had, five of them;
the Ferraris I’ve had, five of them; the Stetsons, and the Lamborghinis, and the jet airplanes, two of them.
…the diamonds, and the gold, and the racehorses, and the women, and the booze”

and about his faith…

“I just was a person who always believed in God, there was a God power,
but I always had trouble believing in Jesus Christ.”

I believe this was a man destined for hell if he died andnever changed his belief about Jesus Christ.

When I first saw, from another BBS, that God had made an impact on Evel’s life, my first thought was
"wow, God is awesome, I got to see this .

I then immediately clicked on the link and here is what I saw,

Praise God, what a wonderful testimony.

As I was watching the video, the truth of God’s word hit home, directly to my heart…

that it does not matter how young or old you are, what color your skin is, what country you were born in, had a criminal life or not, Christian, non-Christian, atheist…

God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and heaven are real and you can have assurance of heaven by making a faith decision for Jesus Christ. He himself declared,

**Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 **

My Christian Brothers and Sisters and all who do not believe in Jesus yet… in the bible, 1 Timothy 1, Paul, called himself the worst of sinners and told Timothy that God saved Him and all can have salvation too through Jesus Christ.

Last year 4-1-07, Robert “Evel” Knievel called himself having a life better than a king, told the world just like Paul did that you can have salvation through Jesus Christ.

So when Philthy asked me the question,

After all, why come to a Catholic website to ask us if you can be saved? Of what value or use is the answer?

The value is the promise of God, not only which I stated, in my life but in that of biblical people, Paul, and now of Robert Knievel, so that you may have God’s precious gift salvation which we have.

and many more before have accepted it
and after us will accept it

The fact is,

**God loves you and if you do not know the extent and fullness of that love He has for you, Jesus will continue to knock on the “door of your heart” until you open that door which will let Jesus in for He says…

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him…”
Revelation 3:20

The question is, after viewing the following video dedicated to the love Jesus has for all of us,

Who will accept Jesus in their heart, by faith, be saved and let Jesus be the Lord of their life?.

Hi all, I just poured out my heart to all of you in previous post,

Before I posted Evel Knievel’s testimony I quoted the RCC document I was destined for hell.

Well I am not asking the following based on RCC documents, I am asking the following as Jesus personally speaks to you in
your heart.

After witnessing Evel Knievels testimony 4-1-07,

Do you believe if he were to drop dead right there on the platform after his testimony he would go to hell?

If he never step foot in the Roman Catholic Church in the remaining time he had (died late last year), each day exercising his faith and repenting and confessing to God to maintain a forgiven soul, do you believe he went to hell?

Do you believe Billy Graham, when he dies with the same belief and faith as Evel Knievel gave witness too, would go to hell?

Friends, if you answered no to all 3 questions,

What is preventing you from accepting the gift of salvation from your loving Father in Heaven?
