Sanctification vs. sanctifying grace

Hi!
Kinda new to these forums. What is the difference (if any) to santification (which Protestants use a lot) and sanctifying grace? Are they basically the same?
 
Yes. Sanctifying grace is that grace by which we are sanctified (made holy). Sanctification is the life-long process by which we, in cooperating with God’s grace, become holy.

In other words, sanctifying grace does make us holy; and by cooperating with sanctifying grace over our lifetime we can increase our capacity for holiness–like a lightbulb which becomes brighter over time.
