When I was watching women’s figure skating I noticed what looked like a kabalah (sp?) string on Sasha Kohen (sp?) wrist. Did any one else notice this?
Same here. I was really rooting for her!! Hey, maybe if that Kabalah bracelet was a rosary bracelet…slightly off topic, but Sasha is my favorite female skater, and she was really beautiful in this Olympics! There is no one who can skate like she does.

I was actually rooting for the Russians in the other skating events. But I can’t think of anyone who skates more beautifully than Sasha Cohen. Her line, extension, and expression are top rate. Irina Slutskaya is very good, but she is more of an energetic skater, fast and exciting. And the gold medalist Shizuka Arakawa is also one of my favorites. There are others who can danse like her…we just need to have an opne mind and heart to the other contestants who were not american! We must not have tunnel vision…Code:

I was sad to see Sasha fall on her long program, but she still did a good job and her’s was the performance I enjoyed the most out of all the ladies.
Locket, I have to agree with you about Sasha’s skating. IMO, while Arakawa’s program was well skated, she left out some of the more difficult moves she had planned .I was actually rooting for the Russians in the other skating events.
