I know Satan cannot be in more than one place at once. He cannot predict the future either, right? Even though he can’t predict it, he does know that he will lose and God will win in the end though, right? Thanks.

Satan can’t be in more than one place at once? Says who? I think he can. In the same way as the Saints can.

Remember that he has an intellect far superior to man’s. He can make some very good guesses as to the future from present trends and conditions.

Satan isn’t in more than one place at once, but his “place” is the entire world. The same way you fill more than one “places” (square inches) at once, Satan fills the entire world as his single location.

Satan, and the demons and angels, aren’t just like people without bodies; they are far greater in scope and presence than we are.

Peace and God bless!

You first have to understand that first Satan is pure spirit, second, time and space are the same thing. spirits transend the physical and can therefore see the future, this is not predicting it any more than looking at a marble table and pointing out the swirls is predicting those swirls. But you are walking on the table and can only see where you are where as he can sit over it and see the whole of it. Yes he does know he will lose but he will still drag as many of us as possible down with him (Also when he steals the energy to make himself manifest on this plane he can do so at as many points as he takes the energy for). so he can be in many places at once ,as well as see all of time (once more this is not the same as predicting it.)but god can do so much more than that and satan will lose, this does not mean there won’t be casualties but we will win the war.

Sorry if this does’nt make much sense i’m typing in a hurry and don’t have time to explain quantum, relitivity, spirituality, etc.😊

I am wondering if this is behind the question: wondering if Satan is behind fortune tellers, sooth sayers, tarot card readers, psychic friends, horoscopes, astrology, etc? Is that it?

Most are fakes. However, there are some inspired by Satan - e.g. Acts 16:16-18. Thus it is advisable to stay well clear of them.

The CCC tells us that the root of the desire for these false gods that violate the first commandment is *the desire for special knowledge and therefore control over other persons or the future.

*What makes it wrong is that the person is not trusting in the Divine Providence of the One Lord God. For those tempted to use these means, realize that you are feeling anxious and insecure. A great solution: get an image of the Divine Mercy (St Faustina Kowalska’s vision of Jesus), with the prayer on it that you should keep praying:

Jesus, I trust in You!

***I have had some amazing experiences in life that have really proved to me that trust in Divine Providence is the way to go. I won’t go into details here–but it was even lifesaving! Yes, saved my life!

At my local bookstore (which is closed now) there was a significant section of occult and witchcraft books. I would frequently see teen and college age women browsing those books, usually about casting spells on boyfriends. They would be wearing crosses! Christians seeking spells! I would sometimes feel the Holy Boldness to strike up a conversation and invite them to trust the Lord…frequently they’d set down the book and thank me and walk out of the store. Maybe that’s why the bookstore closed.

(Their Christian/Bible section was right across the aisle from the occult…I’m sure the Christians boycotted the place. That would lead to reduced business and profits…maybe that’s why the place closed.)
