Read the article: in the internet world the Occult and Satanism are rising. What a drag. I no longer listen to Rock or any Popular music due to the prevalence of bad values like Satanism. What can I write? Better to be simple with no clear talents, then to be blessed with gifts but turn away from God. I heard this on Catholic Radio Station Relevant Radio today and it helped put things in place for me:
Paul 1 Corinthian 1:27
“But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.”
Amen. I can testify to that. What more does the Superficial Materialistic strong hate than the Fool or the Weak who are obedient to God? I will always emphasize this: the allure of Nietzsche and similar writers is that they are offensive and easy to read, appealing to pride and vanity to get new readers.
Finally, while it took me up until mid-thirty to recognize there is a Hell, Evil and Satan…I learned at a young age, “sin,” does not feel good. The danger of Superficiality, I wish that term would come back, is that it ignores the whole interior life of what we go through. Materialism almost by definition is both Superficial and Satanic: by offering no explanation for reality other than the senses, Materialism ignores the greater reality of our soul, which does not rely on sense. Going back to sinning not feeling good, I’m grateful I learned this. Others, instead, become accustomed to the feeling of sin and consider it a Euphoric experience. From what I’ve observed, this leads to all kind of lunacy.
